I am pleased, on behalf of the Board of
Directors and executive management of EHCO Ventures Limited
to reach you
from my desk in a brief that represents our global operation
and strategic development in our organization. The past
years were indeed very remarkable and historic in the life
of last EHCO Ventures Limited. By the end of the year, we had
concluded our tenth
year as a registered
company but second in actual business as an organization
providing diverse services in Nigerian economy, particularly
to the Nigerian Marine, Oil & Gas SubSector. Our major
activities during the past years concentrated on provision
of marine and inshore/offshore support vessels to the oil &
gas sector.
As we announce this significant milestone in
our corporate development it is gratifying to reflect once
again on our remarkable and progressive strides, especially
from the humble beginning about 10 years ago when we became
a registered organization to the last two years when we
became real actors in the industry. EHCO Ventures Limited
began business as a small but highly focused family-owned
company determined to provide innovative and professional
marine services to the oil/gas sector of the Nigerian
economy. Though we are still a privately owned organization,
we see ourselves growing to rank as one of the leading
players in the provision of marine service to the Oil & Gas
Industry in Nigerian. Our corporate activities during the
past years have been managed from our corporate head office
in Port Harcourt, River State, Nigeria. At this juncture, I
am pleased to announce that our business, which actually
picked up during the1st quarter of 2003, is now valued In excess of
=N=700 million resulflng from Inshore/Offshore Mofina.~
In Port Harcourt and Calabar, Cross River State. ln addition,
we continue to maintain affiliation with our foreign and
overseas partners in USA., Europe and Africa-West Coast. In
view of our interest in the provision of Marine Oil & Gas
Services to the Industry, we have identified and established
liaison offices in countries within Africa-West Coast where
Oil & Gas has been located such as: Cameroon, Equatorial
Guinea, Saotome, Garbon, Congo and cote d'i viore. In line
with above, and to further complement and consolidate our
strength in the provision of marine services to the Oil and
Gas Industry, our organization, through this media solicit
for technology support partnership with· any established
high technology marine companies who may have interest in
the Oil and Gas industry of West Africa. In conclusion, it
is important to note that we have a serious culture based on
development of Nigerian indigenous labour work force,
quality, and safety system and community relations in our
operating areas with great emphasis in the protection of
marine environment. Our organization will continue to
develop high quality, highly motivated people as our
principal resource and we hold great concern to their well
being, safety and personal development. On behalf of our
Shareholders, Board of Directors, Clients and Staff, I seize
this opportunity to thank every one most sincerely. My very
special thanks go to Engr. Christ Omo Idehenre, Executive
Director, Capt. Patrick Kekong, Director operations and Mr.
A. B. Dik, our projects co-ordinator without whom only little
would have been achieved so far.
Above all, we remain very optimistic and
grateful to the Almighty God who has been our strength from
the inception of this organization, He has remained
steadfast with us particularly during the period under
review despite the difficulties experienced in the course of
executing the projects that have elevated us to the height
we have now attained. EHCO Ventures Limited will continue to
trust in God for guidance as we navigate the course of
positive growth in the Years ahead.
